Visits with Members of Congress and their staff are one of the most important parts of the National Policy Seminar each year, and even more important than ever in the current environment. As the COVID pandemic continues to impact how constituents can interact with policymakers, these meetings becomes even more important! Whether in-person or virtual, “Hill” visits are critical for sharing about the importance of CTE. Legislators are more likely to support positions that their constituents feel strongly about, which is why it is important for you to engage with your leaders any way you can, whether via web platforms, video conferencing, phone, email, text, or in-person meetings or events.
