This session will provide a deep dive into workforce development related policy, including potential reauthorization of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act and the National Apprenticeship Act. It will also cover efforts by the Administration to issue new regulations on apprenticeships and new CTE apprenticeships.

This session will cover policy issues specific to short-term postsecondary CTE programs, including the latest efforts to expand Pell Grants to short-term programs and new gainful employment regulations affecting certificate programs.

In this session, you’ll hear from leaders across the Administration about key opportunities for CTE.

Unleash the power of stories by learning why they work and how to create them based on your goal: establishing credibility, understanding the value of an idea, or compelling audiences to take a specific action. Beyond learning why stories change minds and incentivize audiences to act, you’ll learn about the three kinds of stories that will move your ideas and career forward.
